Anamika (‘Nami’) Wadhawan recently joined SIB as SVP, Head of Sales. She comes to SIB with over 17 years of experience building B2B and B2G sales teams, championing go-to-market strategies, developing an effective sales culture, growing lines of business, and improving customer retention rates. She oversees the SIB sales organization with leadership responsibility for driving growth in SIB’s heritage business sectors while expanding SIB’s footprint across verticals such as government, private equity, eCommerce, and large enterprise. In her role at SIB, Nami is responsible for driving sales growth, enhancing client relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve new heights.
Most recently, Nami served as Vice President of North America Public Sector at Forrester Research, a leading global marketing and technology research and advisory firm. Nami was responsible for overseeing a team of sales leader, solution partners, and capture team. Under Nami’s leadership, her team achieved consistent YoY business growth and became one of the top-performing teams in the company.
Earlier in her career, Nami held various senior sales positions, consistently outperforming revenue targets and played a pivotal role in shaping sales and go-to-market strategies that align with company goals. Nami is known for her ability to foster collaboration, mentor teams, and implement innovative sales techniques that drive revenue and customer satisfaction. Nami was repeatedly awarded the MVP for her business segment as well as company Client and Collaboration awards, recognizing her people-centric leadership and ability to foster strategic partnerships. Nami’s time at Forrester was instrumental in shaping her leadership principles, centered on clear mission and values, empowering the voice of the customer and employee, and fostering alignment between marketing, sales, delivery, and client success to differentiate and win. Her commitment to these principles has been a cornerstone of her professional journey, guiding teams to achieve collective goals and drive exceptional results.
Nami’s academic credentials include an MBA/MHA from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Northeastern University. She also completed Strategic Sales Management training at Harvard University Extension.
Residing in Washington DC, Nami values spending time with friends and family. A loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Nami is passionate about traveling, golf, driving diversity and inclusion in organizations, and believes one of her primary jobs is to help mentor and support other women in professional environments.
