What is the case?

The lawsuit alleges that Masonite Corporation and Jeld-Wen, Inc. engaged in a combination or conspiracy to fix, raise, maintain and/or stabilize the prices of interior molded doors in the United States in violation of federal antitrust laws.

Who is affected?

All persons (including businesses and companies) from applicable states who indirectly purchased “Stand-Alone Interior Molded Doors” (defined below) not for resale that were manufactured or sold by either Defendant from March 1, 2014 to September 4, 2020 are considered to be class members. You are an indirect purchaser if you made these purchases from any entity other than a Defendant, such as a retail store or a lumber yard.

Stand-Alone Interior Molded Doors are Interior Molded Doors, but Stand-Alone Interior Molded Doors exclude single slabs, bifolds, and pre-hung Interior Molded Doors that are incorporated as part of a larger product (such as part of a purchase of a home) or service (such as installation of the door in a home). Stand-Alone Interior Molded Doors contain patterns and do not include flush doors which have no patterns or relief.
