SIB Development & Consulting Moving to Gain Space for Growth
Charleston, SC – SIB Development & Consulting Inc. is excited to announce they will relocate their Charleston offices to a soon to be renovated building at 1081 Morrison Drive, by early Sept 2013. The new upper peninsula location allows the company more space while continuing to stay within the city and, importantly, the capability to create even more local jobs. As SIB continues developing business and signing clients the new workspace provides the room and resources to manage the increased workload and the increased SIB staffing levels which are expected to add up to fifty new jobs over the next eighteen to twenty-four months.
“We’ve been searching for new space for some time,” said Dan Schneider, SIB’s founder and CEO. “We finally found a great partner in the developer who was willing to work with SIB on all its needs including our indoor and outdoor space requirements as well as our desire to be a part of the redevelopment of the area,” added Schneider.
The new office is located in what is considered an up-and-coming part of Charleston known as “NoMo” or “Northern Morrison Drive.” SIB chose this location because of the bright and industrious nature of the NoMo neighborhood between Meeting street and Morrison. The new office is more easily accessible for SIB employees based throughout the Charleston metro area.
“We share Dan’s enthusiasm for the neighborhood based on an appreciation of its location and access, the nice street grid and the number of buildings available for innovative adaptive re-use by clever, creative users” said Stephen Zoukis, a principal of Raven Cliff Company, the project’s developer. “We expect great things to happen here” Zoukis added.
The new SIB office building will be renovated as a modern office space for the company. It will house features such as an outdoor conference room, an open breakroom, guest and employee parking, as well as gym facilities, and even a private company chef to prepare meals for employees, resources they currently do not have. As the sole tenant, SIB is able to actively design the building to suit its developing business, something their current shared space is not able to handle.
