There is a class action settlement related to optical disk drive price-fixing. If you purchased new computers, standalone optical disk drives or external optical disk drives, you may have been overcharged.

Who is affected?
If you represent a company in Canada that purchased optical disk drives or products containing optical disk drives between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2010, you may be affected. Eligible disk drives were supplied or manufactured by TEAC, NEC, Hitachi, Sony, Toshiba, Samsung, LG, Philips & Lite-On, Koninklijke, Quanta, Panasonic, BenQ, Pioneer or any of their subsidiaries.
